Psyche and Eros
How can we explain the experience we are having with Eros and Psyche? It was not an intended thing, in fact it has taken us by great surprise, yet also as unequivocally real.

The experience began through our reading of the amazing book: The Passion of Being Woman by Mary Hugh Scott. As we read her powerful interpretation of the Eros and Psyche myth something must have happened - a doorway through which these energies entered our lives.

Awakened one morning at 4am, Alorah wrote down these words: “We are Eros and Psyche, humanly embodying this ancient love story and giving birth to the Divine Child: Pleasure, Joy, Bliss. Our time has come. Your time has come. The world’s time has come. Join us as we bring forth for all beings a new way of loving and merge the dimensions of Spirit and Sex.”

Three days later Eros and Psyche themselves came into our bodies. In the same moment, as we made love, we both experienced their undeniable presence and broke into uncontrollable sobs of reunion and recognition - of being together again after too long a time. The experience was beyond describing.

Since that time, their voices have come primarily through letters although we are ever alert to their physical return. Here is Psyche’s “First Letter to Eros in a Very Long Time”:

Dear Eros,
This is your beloved Psyche.

From beyond time you have called to me and now I am here. Together we will re-member our story, returning its wisdom to all of mankind.

You, Divine Self, son of Aphrodite, most beautiful of all gods, ye whose arrows bring love to all humanity - I celebrate your expression in life.

May your art and your beauty be seen by the many.

May your goodness of heart bring courage to men.

May women be fed by your blessed devotion.

May the love that we share inspire others to love.

Together for all we will live love’s creation, modeling that which the world has not seen.

I give you my heart with all of its Beauty.

I give you my Body and the pleasures thereof.

See me and love me and give me my freedom as I see you and love you and celebrate yours.

Together we’ll grow in erotic expression exploring such love as has never been known.

When the towers are falling and all’s profanation it comes to a King and a Queen to stand forth. To demonstrate loving beyond all division and bring order and blessing through love to the land.

Now is again the time of our testing - that we can come forth and present such a love. That presenting our love is our perfect present and the present whose presence is a present for all.

We are the ones for whom Life is waiting.
